Hadith 8973
٨٩٧٣ - حدثنا وكيع قال ثنا عيسى الخياط عن الشعبي قال: قال عبد اللَّه: لا ⦗٤٢١⦘ تهذوا القرآن كهذّ الشعر ولا تنثروه نثر الدقل وقفوا عند عجائبه وحركوا به القلوب (١).
Hazrat Abdullah says that do not recite the Holy Qur'an hastily and thoughtlessly like poetry, nor scatter it here and there like inferior dates; pause and reflect upon its wonders, and let your hearts be moved during its recitation.
