Hadith 8872
٨٨٧٢ - حدثنا هشيم قال أخبرنا يونس ومنصور وعوف عن الحسن قالوا: يا رسول اللَّه قد علمنا السلام عليك فكيف الصلاة؟ قال: "قولوا اللهم أجعل صلواتك وبركاتك على (آل) (١) محمد كما جعلتها على آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد" (٢).
Hasan narrates that the people said, "O Messenger of Allah! We have learned the way to send salutations upon you, now teach us the way to send blessings (durood) upon you as well." He said, "Say: O Allah! Bestow Your mercy and blessings upon the family of Muhammad (peace be upon him) as You bestowed upon Ibrahim. Surely, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious."
