Hadith 8671
٨٦٧١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: ثنا إسماعيل بن علية عن عبد الرحمن بن إسحاق عن عبد الرحمن بن معاوية عن (ابن) (١) أبي (ذباب) (٢) عن (سهل) (٣) بن سعد قال: ما رأيت رسول اللَّه ﷺ شاهرًا (يديه) (٤) في الصلاة على منبر ولا غيره، ولقد رأيت (يديه) (٥) حذو منكبيه ويدعو (٦).
Hazrat Sahl bin Sa’d narrates that I never saw the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raising his hands above his blessed head, neither on the pulpit nor off the pulpit. However, he used to raise his hands up to the level of his shoulders.
