ما جاء في فضل صلاة الجماعة على غيرهاVirtue of Praying in Congregation
Hadith 8623
٨٦٢٣ - حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن عمرو بن قيس عن عكرمة (عن) (١) ابن عباس قال: فضل صلاة الجماعة على صلاة الوحدة خمس وعشرون درجة فإن كانوا أكثر فعلى عدد من في المسجد فقال رجل: وإن كانوا عشرة الآف قال: نعم وإن كانوا أربعين ألفا (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that the prayer in congregation is twenty-five times greater than the prayer offered alone. If there are more people, then the reward is equal to the number of people present in the mosque. A man asked, "If there are ten thousand people, then how much reward is there?" He replied, "If there are forty thousand, then the reward will be for forty thousand."
