Hadith 8569
٨٥٦٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح عن رجل من أصحاب النبي ﷺ (قال) (١): (أن النبي ﷺ كان) (٢) يقوم في الصلاة حتى ترم قدماه فقيل له فقال: "ألا أكلون عبدا شكورًا" (٣).
A companion narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would stand in prayer for such a long time that his blessed feet would become swollen. Someone asked him to lessen this, so he replied, "Should I not be a grateful servant of Allah?"
