Hadith 8521
٨٥٢١ - حدثنا (محمد) (١) بن فضيل عن عطاء (بن) (٢) السائب عن أبيه عن عبد اللَّه (بن) (٣) عمرو قال: انكسفت الشمس على عهد رسول اللَّه ﷺ فقام وقمنا ⦗٣٠٩⦘ معه ثم (قال) (٤): "يا أيها الناس (إن) (٥) الشمس والقمر آيتان من آيات اللَّه، فإذا انكسفت إحداهما فافزعوا إلى المساجد" (٦).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr narrates that once during the time of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the sun was eclipsed. You and we stood up, and you said: O people! The sun and the moon are among the signs of Allah. When either of them is eclipsed, proceed towards the mosques.
