Hadith 8424
٨٤٢٤ - حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن أبي وائل عن مسروق قال: أقمت معه سنتين يصلي ركعتين بالسلسلة، قال فقلت له: ما حملك على هذا يا أبا عائشة؟ فقال: التماس السنة.
Hazrat Abu Wa'il says that I performed two rak'ahs with Hazrat Masruq in succession for two years, then I asked him, "O Abu Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)! What motivated you to do this?" He replied, "The desire to act upon the Sunnah."
