Hadith 8413
٨٤١٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: ثنا ابن علية عن علي بن زيد عن أبي نضرة عن عمران ابن حصين قال: شهدت مع رسول اللَّه ﷺ الفتح فأقام بمكة ثماني (عشرة) (١) ليلة (يقصر الصلاة) (٢) ولا يصلي إلا ركعتين ثم يقول لأهل البلد: "صلوا أربعًا فإنا سفر" (٣).
Hazrat Imran bin Husain narrates that I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at the conquest of Makkah. He stayed in Makkah for eighteen days and used to perform two rak'ahs (for each prayer), and after completing the prayer, he would tell the people, "We are travelers, so you should complete your prayer."
