Hadith 8362
٨٣٦٢ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا الأعمش عن (خيثمة) (١) قال: خرج الحارث بن قيس الجعفي فلما خرج من البيوت قصر الصلاة، قال فقيل له: تقصر الصلاة؟ قال: أتم اليوم وأقصر غدًا.
Hazrat Khaythamah narrates that Harith bin Qais Jufi set out on a journey. When he went beyond the inhabited area, he began to perform shortened (qasr) prayers. Someone asked him, "Have you started performing qasr prayers already?" He replied, "Should I offer full prayers today and qasr prayers tomorrow?"
