Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abu Wa'il says that I set out towards the place of Silsilah with Hazrat Masruq. He shortened the prayer on the way; he stayed there for two years and continued to shorten the prayer there as well, and on the return journey he also kept shortening the prayer until, upon returning, he began to offer the full prayer.
