قوله (تعالى): ﴿ولا تجهر بصلاتك﴾Explanation of the Verse: 'Do Not Raise Your Voice in Your Prayer'
Hadith 8306
٨٣٠٦ - حدثنا وكيع قال: نا شعبة عن (أبي) (١) بشر عن سعيد بن جبير قال: كان النبي ﷺ (٢) "إذا قرأ (يرفع) (٣) صوته، يعجب ذلك المسلمين ويسوء الكفار قال: ⦗٢٥٣⦘ فنزلت: ﴿وَلَا تَجْهَرْ بِصَلَاتِكَ وَلَا تُخَافِتْ بِهَا﴾ (٤).
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair narrates that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited (the Qur'an), he would raise his voice; this pleased the Muslims and displeased the disbelievers. Upon this, the following verse was revealed: { وَلاَ تَجْہَرْ بِصَلاَتِکَ وَلاَ تُخَافِتْ بِہَا }
