Hadith 8142
٨١٤٢ - حدثنا شبابة عن سليمان بن المغيرة عن ثابت عن أنس قال: قدمت من ⦗٢١٤⦘ العراق فقرب عشاء (أبي) (١) طلحة ومعه (من) (٢) شاء اللَّه من أصحاب النبي ﷺ فقال لي: هلم فكل، فقلت: حتى أصلي، فقال: قد أخذت بأخلاق أهل العراق هلم (فكل) (٣) (٤).
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when I returned from Iraq, food was placed before Hazrat Abu Talha and some other companions present with him. They said to me, "Come, eat food." I said, "I will eat after performing the prayer." They said, "You have adopted the habits of the people of Iraq; come, eat food."
