Hadith 8140
٨١٤٠ - حدثنا وكيع عن شريك عن عثمان الثقفي عن رجل يقال له زياد قال: كنا عند ابن عباس (وشواء) (١) له في التنور وحضرت الصلاة فقلنا له، فقال: لا حتى نأكل لا يعرض لنا في صلاتنا (٢).
Hazrat Ziyad says that we were with Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) and something was being roasted in his oven. Meanwhile, the time for prayer arrived and we asked his permission to go for prayer. He said, "No, we will go after eating the food so that this food does not trouble us during the prayer."
