Hadith 8012
٨٠١٢ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا يحيى بن مسلم الهمداني عن سعيد بن عمرو القرشي (قال) (١): (اتبعني أبي) (٢) عبد اللَّه بن عمر (لأتعلم) (٣) منه، فما رأيته يصلي السبحة وكان إذا رآهم يصلونها قال: من أحسن ما أحدثوا سبحتهم هذه (٤).
Hazrat Saeed bin Amr Qureshi says that my father left me with Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) so that I could acquire knowledge from him. I never saw him performing the Duha (forenoon) prayer. If people performed the Duha prayer, he would say, "How good this new voluntary prayer seems."
