Hadith 7879
٧٨٧٩ - حدثنا ابن فضيل عن (وقاء) (١) عن سعيد بن جبير قال: رأى عمر بن ⦗١٥٣⦘ الخطاب (إنسانًا) (٢) يسبح بتسابيح معه فقال عمر: إنما يجزيه من (ذلك) (٣) أن يقول: سبحان اللَّه ملء السماوات والأرض وملء ما شاء من شيء بعد ويقول: الحمد للَّه ملء السماوات والأرض ملء ما شاء من شيء بعد، ولقول: اللَّه أكبر ملء السماوات والأرض وملء ما شاء من شيء بعد (٤).
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair narrates that Hazrat Umar saw a man who was reciting tasbihat using means to count the tasbih. He said that it is sufficient for him to say: Glory be to Allah, filling the earth and the heavens and whatever is between them. All praise is for Allah, filling the earth and the heavens and whatever is between them. Allah is the Greatest, filling the earth and the heavens and whatever is between them.
