Hadith 782
٧٨٢ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن (الأعمش) (١) عن سالم (وحفص عن الأعمش عن سالم) (٢) عن سارية -ولم يذكر سفيان: سارية- قال: سئل عبد اللَّه عن الجنب يغسل رأسه بالخطمي؟ فقال: (يجزئه) (٣) إذا غسل أن لا يعيد على رأسه (٤).
Hazrat Abdullah was asked if it is sufficient for a person in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) to wash his head with marsh mallow (khitmi). He replied: It is sufficient; there is no need to wash the head again.
