Hadith 7733
٧٧٣٣ - حدثنا حاتم بن إسماعيل عن حميد بن صخر عن أبي سلمة عن أبي سعيد، قال: دخلت على رسول اللَّه ﷺ، فسألته عن المسجد الذي أسس على التقوى، فقبض قبضة من الحصى ثم ضرب بها الأرض، فقال: "هذا هو"، يعني مسجد المدينة (١).
Hazrat Abu Saeed narrates that I presented myself before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked, "Which mosque is meant by the mosque whose foundation was laid on piety?" The Prophet picked up a handful of pebbles and threw them on the ground, then said, "It refers to the mosque of Madinah."
