Hadith 7563
٧٥٦٣ - حدثنا وكيع قال: نا هشام بن عروة عن أبيه عن ابن عمر قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إذا بدا حاجب الشمس فأخروا الصلاة حتى تبرز وإذا غاب حاجب الشمس فأخروا الصلاة حتى تغيب" (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the tip of the sun appears, delay the prayer until it has fully risen, and when the tip of the sun sets, delay the prayer until it has completely disappeared.
