Hadith 7559
٧٥٥٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن بسطام (بن) (١) مسلم عن أبي رجاء عن ابن عباس قال: لا (تصل) (٢) عند طلوع الشمس ولا حين تغرب فإنها تطلع وتغرب في قرني شيطان ولكن إذا صفت وعلت (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says that prayer should not be performed at the time of sunrise and sunset. Because the sun rises and sets between the two horns of Satan. However, when the sun has completely set after sunset and has risen high after sunrise, then prayer is permissible at that time.
