Hadith 7165
٧١٦٥ - حدثنا (هشيم) (١) قال: أخبرنا (عروة) (٢) (الهمداني) (٣) قال: (حدثني) (٤) الشعبي قال: لما قنت علي في صلاة الصبح أنكر الناس ذلك قال: فقال (عليّ) (٥): إنما (استنصرنا) (٦) على عدونا (٧).
Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that when Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) recited the Du'a Qunoot in the Fajr prayer, people did not consider this act to be good. Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said to them that we have sought help from Allah against our enemy.
