Hazrat Alqamah narrates that I have performed the Witr prayer with Hazrat Abdullah in every part of the night. He would raise his voice in recitation to such an extent that everyone present in the mosque could hear. He would recite with measured pace and would not repeat the recitation. He would perform the Witr prayer for a duration equal to the time from the Maghrib call to prayer until the completion of the prayer, before the dawn of Fajr.
