Hadith 6923
٦٩٢٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر بن عياش عن أبي حصين عن يحيى بن وثاب عن مسروق قال: سألت عائشة عن وتر رسول اللَّه ﷺ فقالت: كل (الليل) (١) قد أوتر رسول اللَّه (ﷺ) (٢) أوله وأوسطه فانتهى وتره حين مات في السحر (٣).
Hazrat Masruq narrates that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the Witr prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so she replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the Witr prayer in every part of the night: in the early part, in the middle part, and before dawn at the time of suhoor before the pre-dawn meal.
