من قال: يجعل الرجل (آخر) صلاته بالليل وتراThose who say Witr should be the last prayer of the night
Hadith 6873
٦٨٧٣ - حدثنا أبو معاوية وحفص عن الأعمش عن أبي سفيان عن جابر قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "من خاف أن (لا) (١) يقوم (٢) آخر الليل فليوتر (أول الليل) (٣) (ومن طمع أن يقوم آخر الليل فليوتر آخر الليل) (٤) فإن صلاة آخر الليل (٥) مشهودة"، (وقال: أبو معاوية) (٦) (محضورة) (٧) -وذلك فضل (٨).
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever fears that he will not be able to wake up in the last part of the night should perform Witr in the early part of the night. Whoever is confident that he will wake up in the last part of the night should perform Witr in the last part of the night, for that time is the prayer of attendance.
