Hadith 6693
٦٦٩٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: (حدثنا) (١) أبو بكر بن عياش ومحمد بن فضيل عن ليث عن مجاهد قال: إمام القوم ضامن فلا يخص نفسه بشيء من الدعاء دونهم.
Hazrat Mujahid says that the Imam is the guarantor of the people, therefore he should not supplicate for himself alone, leaving out the people.
