Hadith 6579
٦٥٧٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا هشيم قال: أخبرنا يونس بن عبيد عن ابن سيرين أنه كان يقول في الرجل إذا دخل المسجد والقوم يصلون الغداة، قال: يدخل مع القوم في صلاتهم ولا يصلي الركعتين فإنه ما يفوته من المكتوبة أعظم من الركعتين.
Hazrat Ibn Sirin says that if a person enters the mosque during the congregation of Fajr, he should join the congregation and not offer the two Sunnah. Because the obligatory prayer that he would miss is of a higher status than the Sunnah.
