Hadith 6489
٦٤٨٩ - حدثنا ابن علية وغندر عن شعبة عن إبراهيم بن مهاجر عن إبراهيم قال: كان ابن مسعود يقرأ في الركعتين قبل صلاة الصبح أو قال: قبل الغداة بـ ﴿(قُلْ يَاأَيُّهَا) (١) الْكَافِرُونَ﴾ و ﴿قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ﴾ زاد غندر: وفي الركعتين بعد المغرب (٢).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite Surah Al-Kafiroon and Surah Al-Ikhlas in the Sunnah prayers of Fajr. According to Ghundar, he used to recite these same Surahs in the Sunnah prayers of Maghrib.
