Hadith 6174
٦١٧٤ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي الضحى عن مسروق عن عائشة أنها مرت بهذه الآية: ﴿فَمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا وَوَقَانَا عَذَابَ السَّمُومِ﴾ [الطور: ٢٧]، فقالت: اللهم من علينا وقِنا عذاب السموم إنك أنت البر الرحيم.
Hazrat Masruq narrates that Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) recited this verse { فَمَنَّ اللَّہُ عَلَیْنَا وَوَقَانَا عَذَابَ السَّمُومِ } and then said, "O Allah! Bestow Your favor upon us and protect us from the punishment of Hell. Surely, You are the Benefactor and the Most Merciful." Hazrat A'mash was asked whether she made this supplication during prayer, and he replied, "Yes, she made it during prayer."
