Hadith 6160
٦١٦٠ - (حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن حجاج عن أبي إسحاق عن الشعبي عن ابن عمر أنه كره إذا صلى الإمام أن يتطوع في مكانه) (١) ولم ير به لغير الإمام بأسًا) (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) considered it undesirable for the Imam to offer nafl (supererogatory) prayers in the place of the obligatory prayers, but he did not see any harm in it for someone who is not the Imam.
