ما يقرأ به في العيدWhere to begin recitation in Eid prayers?
Hadith 5850
٥٨٥٠ - حدثنا جرير بن عبد الحميد عن إبراهيم بن محمد بن المنتشر عن أبيه عن حبيب بن (سالم) (١) عن النعمان بن بشير أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ كان يقرأ في العيدين والجمعة ﴿هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ﴾ و ﴿سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى﴾ وإذا اجتمع العيدان في يوم قرأ بهما (فيهما) (٢) (٣).
Hazrat Nu'man bin Bashir narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surah Al-Ghashiyah and Surah Al-A'la in the prayers of the two Eids and Jumu'ah. When both Jumu'ah and Eid occurred on the same day, he would recite these same Surahs in both.
