Hadith 5823
٥٨٢٣ - حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا سفيان عن أبي إسحاق عن الحارث (١) عن علي أنه كان يكبر في الفطر إحدى عشرة (٢): ستا في الأولى وخمسا في الآخرة يبدأ ⦗٢٢٦⦘ بالقراءة في الركعتين، وخمسًا في الأضحى: ثلاثًا في الأولى وثنتين في الآخرة يبدأ بالقراءة في الركعتين (٣).
Hazrat Harith narrates that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say eleven takbeers in the Eid al-Fitr prayer: six in the first rak'ah and five in the second rak'ah. He would begin both rak'ahs with recitation. In Eid al-Adha, he used to say five takbeers: three in the first rak'ah and two in the last rak'ah. He would begin both rak'ahs with recitation.
