من قال: الصلاة يوم العيد قبل الخطبةThose who say the Eid khutbah is after the prayer
Hadith 5800
٥٨٠٠ - حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن (ابن) (١) جريج عن عطاء أن ابن الزبير سأل ابن عباس قال: كيف أصنع في هذا اليوم يوم عيد وكان الذي بينهما حسن فقال: لا تؤذن ولا تقم وصلِّ قبل الخطبة فلما ساء الذي بينهما أذن وأقام وخطب قبل الصلاة (٢).
Hazrat Ata narrates that Hazrat Ibn Zubair asked Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), "How should I lead the prayer on the day of Eid?" (At that time, their mutual relations were good.) Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied, "Do not give the adhan nor the iqamah, and lead the prayer before the sermon." When their mutual relations deteriorated, he would lead the prayer with adhan and iqamah and would deliver the sermon before the prayer.
