من قال: ليس في العيدين أذان ولا إقامةThose who say there is no adhan or iqamah for Eid prayers
Hadith 5782
٥٧٨٢ - حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن ابن جريج عن عطاء أن ابن (١) الزبير سأل ابن عباس قال: وكان الذي بينهما حسن فقال: لا تؤذن ولا تقم فلما ساء الذي بينهما أذن وأقام (٢).
Hazrat Ata narrates that Hazrat Ibn al-Zubair asked Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) about the adhan and iqamah for the Eid prayers (at that time, their relations were good). Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied that neither give the adhan nor say the iqamah for the Eid prayers. When relations between the two deteriorated, Hazrat Ibn al-Zubair used to give the adhan and iqamah for the Eid prayers.
