الجمعة يؤخرها الإمام حتى يذهب وقتهاIf the imam delays Jumu'ah until the time is about to end, what should be done?
Hadith 5598
٥٥٩٨ - حدثنا حميد بن عبد الرحمن عن حسن عن إبراهيم بن مهاجر قال: (كان) (١) الحجاج يؤخر الجمعة فكنت (أصلي أنا) (٢) وإبراهيم وسعيد بن جبير (نصلي) (٣) الظهر ثم نتحدث وهو يخطب ثم نصلي معهم ثم نجعلها نافلة.
Hazrat Ibrahim bin Muhajir says that Hajjaj used to delay the Friday prayer a lot, because of which I, Hazrat Ibrahim, and Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair would perform the Zuhr prayer and talk during his sermon. Then we would perform the prayer with the people with the intention of nafl (supererogatory) prayer.
