Hadith 5443
٥٤٤٣ - حدثنا هشيم قال: أخبرنا مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: قال أبو معمر: شيء وددت أني كانت سألت عنه الأسود قال: قال إبراهيم: وما هو فلعلك قد كفيته؟ قال: الرجل يدرك من الجمعة ركعة؟ قال: قال الأسود: من أدرك من الجمعة ركعة فليصلّ ركعة أخرى ومن لم يدرك الركوع فليصلّ أربعا.
Hazrat Mughira says that Hazrat Muammar once said that there was one thing about which I wanted to ask Hazrat Aswad. Ibrahim asked, "What is that thing? Perhaps I can fulfill this need of yours." Hazrat Muammar said, "That man who gets one rak‘ah of Jumu‘ah, what should he do?" Ibrahim said, "Hazrat Aswad says that whoever gets one rak‘ah of Jumu‘ah should add one more rak‘ah to it, and whoever does not even get one ruku‘ should perform four rak‘ahs."
