Hadith 5400
٥٤٠٠ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن معمر عن الزهري عن عبيد اللَّه بن عبد اللَّه أن النبي ﷺ قال: "مَن قَالَ لِصَاحبهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَنْصِتْ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ فَقَدْ لَغَا" (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaidullah bin Abdullah that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On Friday, whoever tells the person sitting next to him to remain silent during the sermon has engaged in idle talk.
