٥١٢٢ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة قال: قال ⦗٧٧⦘ رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوَضُوءَ ثُمَّ أَتَى الْجْمُعَةَ فَدَنَا وَأَنْصَتَ وَاسْتمَعَ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الجُمعَةِ الأُخْرَى وَزِيادَةُ ثَلَاثةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَنْ مَسَّ الْحَصَى فَقَدْ لَغَى" (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever performs ablution well, then comes for Friday (prayer), sits near the Imam, remains silent, and listens attentively to the sermon, his sins from this Friday to the previous Friday and for three additional days are forgiven. Whoever touches pebbles during the sermon has engaged in idle activity.
