Hadith 4925
٤٩٢٥ - حدثنا عبد السلام (بن) (١) حرب عن ابن أبي فروة عن أبي بكر بن المنكدر عن سعيد بن المسيب أن عمر رأى (رجلا) (٢) يصلي ركعتين والمؤذن يقيم فانتهره وقال: لا صلاة والمؤذن يقيم إلا الصلاة (٣) التي تقام لها الصلاة (٤).
Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib narrates that Hazrat Umar saw a man performing two rak'ahs during the mu'adhdhin's iqamah. He scolded him and said that when the mu'adhdhin calls the iqamah, at that time no prayer is to be performed except the prayer for which the iqamah is being called.
