Hadith 4649
٤٦٤٩ - حدثنا قبيصة قال حدثنا (١) سفيان عن الشيباني عن (بكير) (٢) بن الأخنس عن سعيد بن جبير قال: إذا صلى بهم وهو على غير وضوء أعاد ولم يعيدوا قال سفيان: وأحب إليّ أن يعيد ويعيدوا.
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair says that if the Imam leads the prayer for the people in a state of having lost ablution, then he (the Imam) will repeat the prayer, but the people will not repeat it. Hazrat Sufyan says that in my opinion, it is better that both the Imam and the followers repeat the prayer.
