Hadith 4605
٤٦٠٥ - حدثنا مروان بن معاوية عن منصور (بن) (١) حيان (٢) قال حدثني جعفر بن كثير بن المطلب السهمي قال: قال أبو الدرداء: أيها الناس إياكم والالتفات في الصلاة فإنه لا صلاة (للملتفت) (٣) وإن غلبتم على تطوع فلا تغلبوا على المكتوبة (٤).
Hazrat Abu Darda says: O people! Avoid turning your attention here and there during prayer, because turning your attention here and there invalidates the prayer. If your attention gets distracted in voluntary (nafl) prayer, then do not let your thoughts scatter in obligatory (fard) prayer.
