ما قالوا (فيما) إذا نسى فقام في الركعتين ما يصنعIf Someone Says Salam After Two Rak‘ahs and Then Remembers the Salah Is Incomplete, What Should He Do?
Hadith 4571
٤٥٧١ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن هشام عن محمد قال: صلى بنا عمران بن حصين في المسجد فنهض في الركعتين أو قعد في ثلاث وأكثر (١) ظن هشام أنه (قعد) (٢) في الركعتين فلما أتم الصلاة سجد سجدتي السهو (٣).
Muhammad narrates that Hazrat Imran bin Husain led us in prayer in the mosque; he either stood up after two rak‘ahs or sat down after three rak‘ahs. Hisham is of the opinion that he sat down after two rak‘ahs. When he completed the prayer, he performed two prostrations of forgetfulness (sajda sahw).
