Hadith 4567
٤٥٦٧ - حدثنا شبابة قال حدثنا (١) ليث بن سعد عن يزيد (أن) (٢) عبد الرحمن ابن شماسة حدثه أن عقبة بن عامر قام في صلاة وعليه جلوس فقال الناس: سبحان اللَّه فعرف الذي يريدون فلما أن صلى سجد سجدتين وهو جالس، (ثم قال) (٣): إني قد سمعت قولكم، وهذه سنة (٤).
Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Shumasa narrates that Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir stood up from the place of sitting in the prayer. The people said "Subhan Allah," so he understood their intention. When he completed the prayer, he performed two prostrations while sitting. And he said, "I heard what you said, and this is the Sunnah."
