ما قالوا (فيما) إذا نسى فقام في الركعتين ما يصنعIf Someone Says Salam After Two Rak‘ahs and Then Remembers the Salah Is Incomplete, What Should He Do?
Hadith 4563
٤٥٦٣ - حدثنا محمد بن فضيل وعبد اللَّه بن نمير عن يحيى بن سعيد عن عبد الرحمن الأعرج أن ابن بحينة أخبره: أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ قام في اثنتين من الظهر ⦗٤٨٦⦘ نسي الجلوس حتى إذا فرغ من صلاته إلا أن يسلم سجد سجدتي السهو وسلّم (١).
Hazrat Ibn Buhaina narrates that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up instead of sitting after performing two rak'ahs of Zuhr prayer. Then, when he was about to finish the prayer, before saying the salam, he performed two prostrations of forgetfulness (sajda sahw) and then said the salam.
