ما قالوا (فيما) إذا نسى فقام في الركعتين ما يصنعIf Someone Says Salam After Two Rak‘ahs and Then Remembers the Salah Is Incomplete, What Should He Do?
Hadith 4561
٤٥٦١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: (نا) (١) علي بن هاشم عن ابن أبي ليلى عن الشعبي قال: صليت خلف المغيرة بن شعبة فقام في الثانية فسبح الناس به فلم يجلس فلما سلّم وانفتل سجد سجدتين وهو جالس ثم قال: هكذا رأيت رسول اللَّه ﷺ صنع (٢).
Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that I prayed behind Hazrat Mughirah bin Shu'bah. When he stood up in the second rak'ah, people recited tasbih, but he did not sit down. When he finished the prayer with salam, he sat and performed two prostrations of forgetfulness (sajda sahw). Then he said that I saw the Messenger of Allah, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), do the same.
