من كره إذا مر بالسجدة ان يجاوزها حتى يسجدThose Who Consider It Disliked to Recite an Ayah of Prostration and Pass Without Prostrating
Hadith 4413
٤٤١٣ - حدثنا ابن فضيل عن عطاء بن السائب قال: دخلت المسجد فإذا أنا بشيخين فقرأ أحدهما على صاحبه القرآن فجلست إليهما فإذا أحدهما قيس بن سكن الأسدي وإذا الآخر يقرأ سورة مريم فلما بلغ السجدة قال له قيس بن سكن: دعها فإنا نكره أن يرانا أهل المسجد (فتركها) (١) وقرأ ما بعدها قال قيس: واللَّه ما صرفنا عنها إلا (شيطان) (٢) اقرأها فقرأها (فسجدنا) (٣).
Hazrat Ata bin Saib narrates that once I entered the mosque and saw two elderly men sitting there, one of whom was teaching the Holy Qur'an to the other. I also sat down with them. One of them was Hazrat Qais bin Sakan Asadi, and the other man was reciting Surah Maryam to him. When they reached the verse of prostration, Qais bin Sakan said, "Leave it; we dislike that the people of the mosque see us." So he left it and recited the next part. Then Hazrat Qais said, "By God! It was Satan who incited us to leave this verse." Recite it. So he recited it and performed the prostration after reciting.
