Hadith 4275
٤٢٧٥ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى (عن) (١) الجريري عن أبي (العلاء) (٢) عن مطرف قال سألته عن الرجل (يتمارى) (٣) في السجدة (أسمعها أم لم) (٤) يسمعها قال: وسمعها فماذا؟ ثم قال مطرف: سألت عمران بن (حصين) (٥) عن رجل لا يدري أسمع السجدة أم لا؟ قال: وسمعها فماذا؟ (٦).
Hazrat Abu Alaa reports that Hazrat Mutarrif was asked about a person who is in doubt regarding the verse of prostration—whether he has heard it or not—so what should he do? He replied: If he had heard it, what would he have done? Then Hazrat Mutarrif said: I had asked Hazrat Imran bin Husain about a person who is in doubt whether he has heard the verse of prostration or not, so what should he do? He replied: If he had heard it, what would he have done?
