Hadith 4274
٤٢٧٤ - حدثنا ابن فضيل عن عطاء بن السائب عن أبي عبد الرحمن قال: دخل سلمان الفارسي المسجد وفيه قوم يقرؤون فقرؤوا السجدة فسجدوا، فقال له صاحبه: يا أبا عبد اللَّه (لو) (١) (أتينا) (٢) هؤلاء القوم (فقال) (٣): ما لهذا غدونا (٤).
Hazrat Abu Abdur Rahman narrates that once Hazrat Salman entered the mosque and people were reciting the Qur'an. He recited a verse of prostration and performed sajdah. A person said to Hazrat Salman, "O Abu Abdullah! Should we not also perform sajdah like these people?" He replied, "We have not come here for this purpose."
