من قال: السجدة على من جلس لها ومن سمعهاProstration Is Obligatory for Both the Listener and the One Sitting Near the Reciter
Hadith 4272
٤٢٧٢ - حدثنا هشيم قال (أنا) (١) يحيى بن سعيد عن سعيد بن المسيب أن قاصا كان يجلس قريبا من مجلسه فيقرأ السجدة فلا يسجد سعيد وقد سمعها قال فقيل له: (ما يمنعك) (٢) من السجود؟ قال: لست إليه جلست.
Hazrat Yahya bin Saeed says that a man used to sit near the sitting place of Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib. If he recited a verse of prostration, Hazrat Saeed, despite hearing that verse, would not perform prostration. Someone asked him about this, so he replied that I am not sitting here to listen to his recitation.
