فيما يكتب للرجل من التضعيف إذا أراد الصلاةWhen Is Double Reward Written for Praying in Congregation?
Hadith 4209
٤٢٠٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا إسماعيل بن علية عن كثير بن (شنظير) (١) عن عطاء عن أبي هريرة قال: إذا انتهى الرجل إلى القوم وهم قعود في آخر (صلاتهم) (٢) فقد دخل في التضعيف، وإذا انتهى إليهم وقد سلم الإمام ولم يتفرقوا فقد دخل في التضعيف (٣). - وقال عطاء: كان يقال إذا خرج من بيته وهو ينويهم فأدركهم أو لم يدركهم فقد دخل في التضعيف.
Hazrat Abu Huraira says that when a person joined the congregation while the people were sitting at the end of the prayer, he received double reward. If he joined the congregation after the Imam had said the salam, but the people had not yet dispersed, he still received double reward. Hazrat Ata says that it was said that when a person left his house with the intention of joining the congregation, he received double reward even if he could not reach the congregation.
