Hadith 4087
٤٠٨٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع بن الجراح عن شعبة عن أبي التياح الضبعي قال: سمعت أنس بن مالك يقول: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ يخالطنا فيقول لأخ لي: "يا أبا عمير ما فعل (النغير) (١) " قال: ونضح بساطا لنا فصلى عليه (٢).
Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) used to joke with us. One day he said to my brother, "O Abu Umair! What happened to your Nughair (bird)?" Then he spread a mat and performed prayer on it.
