Hadith 40730
٤٠٧٣٠ - حدثنا زيد بن (حباب) (١) قال: أخبرني موسى بن عبيدة قال: أخبرني عبد اللَّه بن دينار عن أبي سلمة وعطاء بن يسار (قالا) (٢): جئنا أبا سعيد الخدري فقلنا: (سمعنا) (٣) من رسول اللَّه ﷺ في الحرورية (شيئا) (٤)، فقال: ما أدري ما الحرورية؟ ولكن سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول: "يأتي من بعدكم أقوام تحتقرون صلاتكم مع صلاتهم، وصيامكم مع صيامهم، وعبادتكم مع عبادتهم، يقرؤون القرآن لا يجاوز تراقيهم، (يمرقون) (٥) من الدين كما (يمرق) (٦) ⦗٥٥٩⦘ السهم من الرمية" (٧).
Hazrat Abu Salamah and Hazrat Ata bin Yasar state that we went to Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri and said to him, "Have you heard anything from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about the Haruriyyah?" He replied, "I do not know about the Haruriyyah, but I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'After you, there will come a people before whom you will consider your prayers insignificant compared to their prayers, your fasts insignificant compared to their fasts, and your worship insignificant compared to their worship. They will recite the Qur'an, but the Qur'an will not go beyond their throats. They will go out of the religion just as an arrow passes through the bow.'"
